11/12 of #top12 #2025 The Weight of a Day's Work at Dhoby Khana, Kochi I got inspired, so I decided to select my Top 12 photos of 2025. Some of them I selected because I liked the photo, and others because of the experience of taking them, but for all of them it is a way to remember some of the places I have visited and, mostly, the people I have met along the way. I spent two days at Dhoby Khana, the public laundry in Kochi, Kerala, photographing the men and women who work here. This dhobi, one of the older workers, carried bundle after bundle without stopping — freshly washed clothes packed tight and ready for a hotel or a customer's door.
