8/12 of #top12 #2025 Daily Life in the Shadow of the Golden Dome, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei I got inspired, so I decided to select my Top 12 photos of 2025. Some of them I selected because I liked the photo, and others because of the experience of taking them, but for all of them it is a way to remember some of the places I have visited and, mostly, the people I have met along the way. I wandered through Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, documenting the city and its people. It was Friday prayer, and near the Jame'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah mosque, the streets were nearly empty. This young man sat in the shade during his lunch break, listening to music while the midday sun beat down. We talked briefly about photography and his day.
