1/12 of #top12 Foto: Jens Hauser
I got inspired so I thought of selecting my Top 12 photos of 2016. Some of them I selected because I liked the photo and others the experience in taking them but for all of them them it is a way to remember some of the places I have visited but mostly the people I have meet.
My first photo comes from the wonderful place Danau Girang Field Centre, Sabah, Borneo that is a fantastic place. They are doing research on a wide range of topics from proboscis monkey, non-invasive genetic analysis in conservation to habitat use of slow lorises and and this lovely little Western Tarsier.
A special thanks goes to Charlie, Danica, Ellie, Joe, Katey, Koko, Leona, Meg, Doyo, Sergio, Tim, Tom, Valentine and others for teaching me a lot of their research, life in the bush or life in general but a ultra thank you goes to Benoit Goossens for letting me visit DGFC and also for introducing me to the mindset of local conservation.
